They say every great love story has a little bit of fate—and ours just so happened to come with four paws and a wagging tail.

Back when we were both students at Texas Tech, an ordinary night at Bier Haus turned into something unforgettable. Out of nowhere, Eden wriggled free from her leash, bounded across the bar, and leapt straight into Tanner’s arms. What started as a funny, unexpected moment quickly became the spark that changed everything.

Our first date was simple but memorable—lunch and a movie (Captain Marvel). Somewhere between the easy conversation, the laughter, and the shared popcorn, it was clear this was the beginning of something real.

Fast forward to February 19th—the coldest day of the year. Bundled up at Spirit Ranch, Tanner asked the easiest question I’ll ever answer: “Will you marry me?” Despite the freezing weather, it was the warmest, most perfect moment of our lives.

Now, with Eden still faithfully by our side, we’re so excited to celebrate our next chapter surrounded by the love of our family and friends.
